I use a Sony DSC-QX10 camera on a 10m carbon telescopic pole or a selfie stick. I use this to have a look at the roof, rainwater goods, chimneys, fascias, soffits etc. Its use is subject to weather conditions and overhead service cables but is falling into redundancy with the purchase of the drone.
